Chapter 60 Theft
Wilson's eyes narrowed as he sipped his scotch.
"Why are you looking like that?" He questioned his son.
"Nothing Pa. Can I take today off work? I feel so weak," Ezra complained.
"You feel so weak," he mocked. "You've only been to work two times this week."
Ezra said nothing. He watched his father sip scotch until his eyes blended with the color of the glass and its content.
"Ezra, my boy, it's time we took care of that nephew of mine."
Ezra looked confused, unsure where his father was headed. "What do you mean, Father?"
Wilson dropped the glass and drew closer to his son. "Levi's getting too big for his britches. Thinks he's above us with his fancy job and his... condition."
"What condition, Pa?"
"Oh, don't worry. I'll tell you all about that later.-
Ezra shifted uncomfortably in his seat, sensing where this was going. He was soon going to be dragged for not being as smart as Levi and letting him get all the favors in the family.
