Chapter 37 The Waiting Game

Levi paced back and forth in his living room, his mind occupied with thoughts of Eleanor. He had decided to stay at home today, as Finley had ordered him to rest following the events in his life lately. But he couldn't rest. He had not a single clue as to how to do that in this present state. "You should rest, Levi," Harry said when he called in today. Harry had gone with his family to see his in-laws, as his wife was expecting another baby—twins, to be precise. So Harry couldn't spend the day with him, and he was happy for him. But for some selfish reason, he wished Harry was here. Maybe he would be able to rest. "I am Harry. How's the countryside?" "I need to get out of here asap. My wife's parents are filling my ears with how they had taught their daughter well and how vehemently she's producing babies." Levi burst into laughter, but it wasn't real. It was fake, and Harry could tell that. The laughter ended as quickly as it had started. "For real, get some rest, Levi. I know y
