Wilson walked into the grand office, his confidence not in his intelligence or the work he was coming to rort to his father's weekly revenue. But it was in the strength that he thought the chaos he was about to cause would mean for him. It would mean power. Power for him and maybe Ezra.
Rocco Rodriguez, often referred to as the golden patriarch of the Rodriguez family and president of the corporation, looked up from his desk, his eyes narrowing slightly. He had successfully built and run this company in his teen days.

"Father, how are you?" Wilson asked, carefully looking at his father over and over as if to check for illness that usually stood out. But Rocco looked very healthy—unnecessarily too healthy for Wilson's liking if you asked him. He looked disappointed.
"I'm doing well, Will. The deal that Levi made in Morocco six years ago is still paying. That boy's my golden boy. The proper Americans say "my golden goose." You have the reports, right?
