Chapter 104: The Press Release

Harry and Levi spend a few more minutes in his office talking. Shortly after, someone knocked and came in after Levi asked him to. “Sir, the press release is starting in a few minutes.” “I’ll be there soon,” Levi said and dismissed the employee. After that, he turned to Harry and exhaled. “I guess it’s time I go and clear Ezra’s name.” Harry stood up as well. “Don’t overthink it, Levi. Just do it and get it over with. We’re still investigating the matter and will soon get to the root of it.” Levi nodded, and they went out. The press release was to be held outside the company building on the ground floor. People were already gathered, especially the paparazzi, who were hungry for anything they could use for a catchy headline. When Levi stepped up, the flashes of cameras almost blinded him even though it was still afternoon. He glanced around and spotted his uncle in the crowd. His tight, body-hugging blue suit and firm stand singled him out, and Levi was able to recognize him easily
