Chapter 966
They were definitely not human eyes. What could they possibly be?
Cameron focused his gaze, straining to see through the dense dark fog to discern those enormous eyes. However, under the immense pressure, his consciousness was rapidly fragmenting. He could feel his vision blurring.
"Damn it..."
He murmured in frustration, and his consciousness eventually vanished into the dark space.
When he woke up again, Cameron was drenched in cold sweat. His eyes snapped open, fully expecting to greet death. Yet, he found himself in a scene all too familiar—a rainy night, black energy swirling around him, and the old estate.
He hadn't died! He was back!
Cameron's heart skipped a beat. He quickly looked behind him and saw the Shadow Guardian, who was clutching his head and groaning in agony.
Cameron's gaze sharpened. He scanned the surroundings and noticed that the vast ocean of dark energy, once billowing around them, had mostly dissipated following the destruction of the formation core.
