Chapter 1050
"Miss!" Cameron tried to stop her, but it was too late.
Aurora swam to the surface like a mermaid before her head emerged from the water.
Cameron only made it halfway. He didn't dare to go any further, fearing that the vital energy emanating from his body might alert the handmaidens if he got any closer. He could only hold his breath and wait, suspended in the middle of the lake.
As Aurora rose halfway out of the water, splashes and ripples spread across the surface.
"Ms. Cinder!" The six handmaidens waiting by the lakeside exclaimed in surprise upon seeing Aurora.
"Laverna, Soleil, why are you here?" Aurora feigned ignorance as she looked at the surprised handmaidens.
"Ms. Cinder, we're here on Mrs. Edelweiss' orders to wait for you," Laverna, one of the handmaidens, spoke first.
"Grandmother is looking for me?" Aurora furrowed her brows, pretending to be unaware.
"Yes, Ms. Cinder. Mrs. Edelweiss has important matters to discuss with you regarding the ceremony," Laverna explai
