Chapter 16 It's not easy for her to survive

"Lina!" Hansen saw Lina fall to the ground and immediately rushed over, "What's wrong? Belly pain?" "Save me, I can't lose the baby." Lina's face was frighteningly white and her forehead was sweating. Angus, seeing Lina like this, also turned nervous, and he was just about to pick her up when he was angrily pushed away by Hansen. "I'm the doctor!" Hansen said and immediately picked up Lina and ran inside. Angus was tempted to toss Hansen aside, but he was right, Hansen was the doctor and had to follow their lead. Lina was taken to the first aid room. "If anything happens to her, I will never let you go!" Hansen said angrily. "Who are you to speak for her?" Angus asked provocatively. Hansen's hand clenched into a fist, but did not open his mouth to retort, finally, he sighed and leaned against the wall with some demoralization. "It's really hard for her to survive, please, don't hurt her." Angus frowned, did not speak, worryingly looked at the first aid room's closed door tightly. He didn't even realize how nervous he really was at the moment, so much so that he forgot that he was bringing Annie to the hospital today. It was two hours before Lina was wheeled out of the first aid room. "Lyn, how is she?" Lyn was a doctor in the gynecology department and usually has a good relationship with Hansen. When Hansen saw Lyn walking out, he immediately asked anxiously. "She's just so tired, Hansen. She looks so haggard, and she must get some rest, or the next time this happens, there's no way I can keep the baby safe again." Lyn said with a smile. "Okay, I got it, thanks." Hansen said gratefully. "Then I'll go and get busy, take good care of her." After Lyn finished, she explained a few more words to the nurse before leaving. Hearing that Lina was okay, Angus was relieved, but he was now in a very bad mood. Lina was obviously his wife, but this damn man actually acted like he cared more than he did. And their conversation was all overheard by Annie. Annie stood a short distance away, tears falling from her eyes. Angus did not notice, instead, Lina spoke up to remind him. "Angus, it's Annie you should be accompanying, don't worry, no one knows I'm your wife, so don't worry about your dignity." Lina said indifferently. At this point, Annie looked at Angus with a grievance look as if she had received a great blow, and her bag fell to the ground. Hearing the sound, Angus realized Annie standing there and couldn't help but feel some remorse. How could he leave Annie alone for Lina and make her so sad? "Annie, I ..." Angus tried to comfort Annie but was interrupted by Annie. "It's okay. I'm only slightly injured, you keep Lina company, I'll go first." Said Annie while wiping tears, while running towards the outside. Angus looked back at Lina, then at Hansen, and left after Annie. Seeing the way Angus left after Annie, Lina felt hard inside. How could she feel so strange when she knew that Angus loved Annie? "Lina, are you okay?" Hansen saw the despondency in Annie's eyes and asked worriedly. "I'm fine, thank you for today, I've caused you trouble again." Lina said apologetically. "If you keep being so polite, I'll get angry, I'm your brother, if you don't bother me, who else can you bother? Listen, as long as it's about you, I won't think it's trouble, understand?" Hansen tucked the covers in for Lina. Lina laughed helplessly. It was because he never felt bothered that she felt sorry for him. Annie just ran out of the hospital, pretending not to see the chasing of Angus, ran to the bottom of a large tree, squatted down, buried her head in her knees and cried out in pain. Angus looked at Annie's hurt face and felt even more guilty. "Annie, I'm sorry." Angus said helplessly as he squatted down in front of her. Annie looked up, her face already all covered in tears. "Angus, I'm sorry, it was rude of me, Lina was supposed to be your wife, I shouldn't have been jealous, but I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself, I love you too much!" "Annie, you know me, I will marry you if I say I will, you don't need to come to me again and again to confirm." Angus said with a frown. For Annie, he had really mixed feelings. He knew how much of a sacrifice it was for a girl to give her first time, which was why he promised to marry her. But sometimes he did feel uncomfortable with the way Annie acted. "I'm sorry, Angus, I didn't mean to." Annie said through her tears. Angus raised his hand to wipe away her tears, "I can't leave her in the hospital, if father finds out and intervenes, things will become uncontrollable. Let Alan take you back, and you get some rest." "No, I can go back by myself, you go check on Lina, I'm fine." Annie showed a smile, stood on her tiptoes, and kissed Angus on the cheek. Leaving Angus's sight, the aggrieved expression on Annie's face disappeared. She stood a short distance away, looking in the direction of the hospital with a worried look. Damn, that woman was actually pregnant. She had only just established that the woman who had come out of Angus's room that night was Lina, and now that she was pregnant. She couldn't take any chances, whether it was Angus's baby or not. Lina must not be allowed to stay with Angus any longer! On the fourth day of Lina's hospitalization, Robert finally couldn't resist and intuitively made chicken soup, packed it up and brought it to Angus. "Sir, could you please send the soup to Madam?" Robert only knew that Lina was too weak and didn't know about her pregnancy. Angus frowned at the thermos bucket Robert had placed in front of him and seemed to be considering whether to go or not. Robert was watching Angus grow up, and Angus' feelings for Robert was even deeper than with his father, so he respected Robert. "Actually, you can try to get to know Madam, she is really a very thoughtful girl." Robert said softly. Robert's words were as if they had touched a nerve in Angus. That day, the man seemed to have said the same thing. It's really hard for her to survive, please, don't hurt her. Angus thought that's what Hansen said. Thinking of this, Angus immediately dialed Alan's phone. "Alan, find out about Lina, I want to know everything about her." Angus said with some urgency. Ending the call, Angus tossed his phone aside and lay back on the couch. What was the secret in her? Why do they all say they want him to understand her properly? And at this time in the hospital Lina had recovered a lot. "Lina, do you want to consider moving out?" Hansen looked at Lina, who was leaning against the hospital bed, and opened his mouth to ask. Listening to Hansen's words, Lina fell into deep thought. After she and Angus got married, his father, Andre Brian didn't seem to meddle in their lives, and besides, Angus hated her in the first place, and it seemed like a pretty good idea to move out. Anyway, in a short time, he wouldn't agree to give Ollie's company the opportunity to cooperate, but the baby in the belly grew day by day and Dill lived alone, which also made her always uneasy. If she could move out, not only could she be able to stay with her dad, but she'd also be less likely to mess with Angus and upset him. With that in mind, she looked to Hansen, "I'd like to trouble you-" "Helping to find a house, right?" Hansen asked with a smile. Lina nodded, "Yes, I want to be able to move out tomorrow when I get out of the hospital." Since Angus was so disgusted with her, perhaps if she moved out, he would be happier and it would be easier to talk to him about cooperation later.
