Chapter 11 I don't like her

Later in the afternoon, Angus and Annie went to that Fifth Block cafe. Lina was currently serving a cup of coffee to a guest. When Angus saw her in her cafe overalls, his face instantly fell. Annie was talking to Angus, and when she felt his change of mood, she followed his line of sight and her face became ugly. "Why is that damn woman here?" Annie thought to herself. Angus was also puzzled. Does she go out every day and come to such place to do this kind of work? As Angus's wife, she would actually come to do such a hard job! But he didn't realize why he was so angry to see her working here. Angus got up and walked directly toward Lina. Annie was about to be pissed off when she saw Angus walking towards Lina. "I swear, I will definitely get rid of you one day!" Annie said viciously. Angus angrily walked over to Lina, grabbed her wrist and grabbed her and walked outside. Lina didn't expect to meet Angus here, and by the time she reacted, she had already been taken outside of the cafe by Angus. "Angus, let go, what are you doing?" Lina said as she struggled. Angus, however, didn't give her a chance to break free, his hand gripping her wrist tightly, "Why do you want to work here?" "Does it matter where I work?" Lina asked rhetorically. "Of course it's important, you're my Angus's wife and I don't allow you to work here." Angus said domineeringly. "Angus, I'm not really your wife, we're just working together." Lina didn't understand why he was getting so angry. It was clear that she had applied for a job at WT Group, and he was short of translators for the Caro language, but still didn't hire her. Lina's words made Angus even angrier, yes, they were just working together, so why should he feel angry? "No one here knows I'm your wife, you don't have to worry about me embarrassing the Bryan family by working here, please don't bother me with making money, thanks." Lina drew her hand out and walked toward the cafe. And their conversation was clearly heard by Annie. Annie walked over to Angus' side with tears hanging from the corners of her eyes, "Angus, do you have a crush on Lina?" Angus frowned at Annie's words, "You know, I don't like her." "I knew it, Angus, you wouldn't fall in love with another woman, would you? You said you'd marry me, and I'll always wait for you." Annie hugged Angus and sobbed. Angus looked through the window and watched Lina's busy face. How can she do such hard work when she is pregnant? She was Celta's daughter, even Celta's family's company was not comparable to the Bryan family, but it shouldn't be so hard that she needed to do such hard work for money. What was she trying to do and what was she hiding ... His mood changed complicatedly, which was all in Annie's eyes. Although Angus had said that he would not like Lina, she was a woman and she could feel that Angus had special feelings for Lina. He was such a calm person, yet he always became easily angry and agitated because of Lina. No, she had to hurry up and find a way to get rid of Lina, she couldn't let her stay with Angus anymore! After work in the company was done, Angus didn't go straight home, but drove to this cafe in the Fifth Block. He told Alan to pull over and sit in the car and watch the store. In fact, he himself does not know why he would want to come here. "Sir, why don't you let the lady come to work directly to the company?" Alan asked in disbelief. Angus's face showed no emotion, but there was nothing wrong with Alan's proposal. Now that the partnership with Myer Company turned official, there would be a greater need for an translator who knew the Caro language to be in charge of the communication between the two sides. Lina's ability was qualified as he had seen, and she was perfectly capable of doing the job. After waiting for an hour and seeing Lina walk out of the store and get on the bus, Angus then asked Alan to drive away. Back at the castle, Angus called Robert into his study. "Sir, what's wrong?" Robert asked, somewhat puzzled. "You tell Lina to report to the office instead of working at the cafe starting tomorrow." Angus said indifferently. He's not going to talk to that ungrateful woman by himself. "Huh?" Robert looked at Angus with a puzzled expression. "I said, let her work for the company, what's wrong with you?" Angus repeated. "Sir, Madam might not want to go to the company." According to Lina's character, it might be a little difficult to let her go again when she had already been rejected. "Why? She would work as a waitress in a cafe rather than work at my office?" Angus was in a bad mood at the moment. Seeing Angus like this, Robert immediately explained, "Of course it's not like that, it's just that, Madam had submitted her resume to the company before, but she wasn't hired, so I just thought that Madam might not want to go to the company again." Have her ever submitted a resume? Angus fell into silence; she knew Caro's language, so the application should be suitable for this position that he needed. He had ordered that all information about this position should be reviewed by him, but he did not receive Lina's resume. "You go off the car first, and I need to investigate this matter." Angus said seriously. The next day, as soon as Angus walked in on the company, he called in Alan. "Go and find out if Madam applied for a job at the company and why I didn't see a resume." Angus instructed. "Okay, boss, I'll get right on it." Alan said and left. Half an hour later, Alan walked in again. "Boss, it had been checked out." Alan put a video in front of Angus. "Madam did apply for the position of translator, and I asked Linda, the head of the HR team, and she said that her resume was taken by Miss Annie. Annie said that Lina, oh no, that Madam was not qualified." Angus's face turned grim, Annie? Thinking about it, he suddenly got up, "Go to that cafe in the Fifth Block." Alan immediately followed his lead, "Yes, sir." And at this time in the Blue Ocean Cafe, Lina was busy. "Lina!" Lauren looked at Lina in surprise, "I can't believe I'm meeting you here!" After Lina said goodbye to him that day, he was worried that Lina was still angry, so he held back from contacting her, and he had still kept her resume in his drawer. He was going to ask her out for a walk this weekend, but he never thought he would see her there. Lina was busy at this time, heard Lauren's voice, and only then found him sitting in the corner. "Oh, Lauren, please wait for me, I'll come back to you when I'm done." Said Lina delivered the coffee in her hand to the customer, said hello to the store manager, and only then came to Lauren. "I just thought I was mistaken, Lina, why are you working here?" Lauren asked, puzzled. With her ability to work, she was perfectly capable of finding a better job. "Because I like the job." Lina said with a smile. She couldn't say that she came to work here because she needed money after being rejected by several companies. Lauren had been good to her, and her saying that was no different than begging him for help; she had to live on her own. However, Angus arrived at the cafe just in time to see Lina and Lauren chatting happily.
