LORENZO’S P.O.V.
I couldn’t remember the last time I felt like a normal person or if I had ever felt like that in my entire life. The staff in the observatory were kind and acted like they didn’t know who I was. Leo loved seeing the stars and asked me questions that I didn’t even realize I had the answers to. By the end of the day, I was worn out but grateful that it happened.
Leo started to yawn close to the end of the tour and I knew he was exhausted so despite his protests I picked him up. I couldn’t imagine how tiring this sort of day must have been for a seven-year-old. It was a testament to his determination that he managed to stay up as long as he did because he fell asleep almost as soon as I carried him.
