ISABELLA’S P.O.V. We decided to stop for lunch first after my stomach grumbled loudly in the car. We stopped for some pasta and shrimp and I ate more food than I normally would have. Enzo just watched me with a small smile on his face the entire time. It felt good to be able to just be out with my family and not have to worry about what was happening and who was breathing down our necks. After lunch, we went back home and Leo and I had to get started on his school for the day. Since Carmen was gone, Enzo and I had tried to work up a schedule so we could ensure Leo still got the proper education and time he needed. Matteo and Natalia had been a great help and even Mac helped out where he could. I couldn’t have asked for a better family even if I tried. “Mum,” Leo asked after we were rounding up and I hummed. “Do you think the baby is going to be a boy or a girl?” “I don’t know,” I admitted. “I can find out in a few weeks or I can wait until after I have the baby to figure it out.”
