LORENZO’S P.O.V. I wasn’t sure if I was more impressed with Isabella or pissed. I should have known that there was no way she would willingly drop the issue but I didn’t think she would go as far as to ask Dante for help. Dante was not a trustworthy person in the slightest and finding dirt on Manuel and Sofia was not enough incentive to risk getting entangled with Dante. “What secret did you give him?” I asked making them turn to me. I didn’t care about anything else. I just wanted to know what part of her she had to give up. “If she tells you then it isn’t a secret anymore, is it?” Dante smirked as he spoke. “Don’t worry Lorenzo, it has nothing to do with you or your business. It is just about her, right, Isabella?” I didn’t know if I hated it or was relieved that it was a personal secret. It meant there was a part of her that I would never be privy to, a part that he shared and that was enough to grate on my nerves. She was my wife, mine, he didn’t deserve to hold parts of her.
