Chapter 106: If It Ain't Fixed, Relocate
Henry paused his ascent to the balcony, arrested by the sound of Giselle’s voice from within.
“There’s no way I could ever fall for him—not in this lifetime or any other!”
The door burst open with a resounding bang, startling both Giselle and Megan.
Protectively, Megan positioned herself in front of Giselle, eyeing Henry with fierce suspicion. “What are you planning?”
“Get out,” Henry commanded, his steely gaze fixing on Giselle, piercing through Megan’s protective stance.
Giselle gently pushed Megan towards the exit. “Wait for me outside.”
“No way!”
Megan resisted, but at Giselle’s insistent glances, she finally relented and exited, murmuring a warning as she left, “Be careful.”
Giselle offered her a comforting smile, then shut the door and turned to pick some fresh clothes from the shelf.
But before her fingers could grasp the fabric, she was swept off her feet and tossed onto the bed.
