Under the dim lights, Henry had an aura that was both decadent and ascetic.
He caught sight of Giselle, his gaze locking onto her as he rubbed his eyes, as though he couldn't believe she was there.
It wasn't until Giselle approached him directly that cracks began to show on his normally impeccable facade.

His voice was husky and rich, like a cello layered with gravel from too much drinking, and it carried an unexpected sexiness.
Giselle gave him a helpless glance—it was obvious she was the one who had come. Clearly, he was drunk.
