Melissa and Spencer grew up together and have been in love for more than twenty years, but Spencer would rather believe a stranger than her, making it difficult for Melissa to accept it.
"He has no grievances or hatred against you and he has nothing to do with me, so why would he lie to me?"
Melissa was speechless. It's not that she didn't know what to say, but she was just so disappointed that she couldn't say anything.
