After talking with Clark, Elinor felt considerably lighter in spirit. She spent another afternoon in the school library before meeting up with Lilian for dinner. Upon seeing her, Lilian thought Elinor looked like a whole new person. "You seem really happy today. Did something good happen? You seem to have a different energy about you," Lilian inquired. "I spoke to Clark today about some of the issues I've been working on. He offered some valuable insights and introduced me to theories I never thought of. No wonder he's a world-renowned medical scholar," Elinor said, genuinely admiring Clark. The issues had been bothering her for days, but after speaking to Clark, she realized her thinking had been somewhat limited. Before Elinor could go on, Lilian cut her off. "Okay, enough. I get that you're a genius who can manage two completely different disciplines, but spare me, will you? I'm just an average person who struggles with one field of study. I really don't need to hear all these
