Chapter 54 Making Amends

After resting for two days at the manor, Elinor returned to school. She had no classes or research obligations that day. Her sole reason for coming was to attend a lecture by the renowned medical expert, Clark Livingstone, who was famous for his groundbreaking work in mental health research. Eagerly arriving at the auditorium well in advance, she had hoped to secure a front-row seat to see Clark. However, to her dismay, the hall was already packed with attendees, many of whom were not even medical students. It was as if a major concert were taking place. Disappointed, she took a seat in the back, pondering whether she should approach Clark later with her questions. Just as she was contemplating that, a loud applause erupted from the front.
