Chapter 32

The quickest among the fans were already on a business venture as the rest of the crowd surged forward. "I want it! I'll pay 2,000 dollars! I want the one closest to his heart!" Natasha was still standing there after everyone had left. It was the first time she had gotten to speak with Jack up close, and she had already given him a bad first impression. She felt that she would be too traumatized to approach him ever again. Natasha then remembered that she hadn't removed her mask, so Jack did not know what she looked like. She let out a breath of relief. "Almost scared myself there." She described the scene to Amelia on the way back, leaving her stunned. Amelia asked, "So how are you feeling now?" Natasha got out of the car and coughed twice. "Nothing in particular. Am I supposed to feel something?" Amelia genuinely admired Natasha's composure. She recalled a scene back in the recording studio with Natasha and a few of their colleagues, where the microphone in front of Natasha
