CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND THREE - The Long-Lost Twin
"What are you thinking about?" Mason asked, noticing her thoughtful expression.
Claire smiled, leaning into him. "Just how far we've come. Remember when we first met in Paris? If someone had told me then that we'd end up here..."
Mason chuckled. "You probably would've thrown your coffee at them."
"Hey!" Claire protested, playfully swatting his arm. "I wasn't that bad."
"You kind of were," Mason teased. "But I loved every minute of it."
As the sun set over the LA skyline, painting the sky in hues of pink and orange, Claire felt a surge of emotion. She turned to Mason, her eyes shining.
"I love you, you know that?" she said softly.
Mason's gaze softened as he cupped her face in his hands. "I love you too. More than I ever thought possible."
As they kissed, the city lights twinkling below them, Claire knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they'd face them together. Their journey had been far from perfect, but it had led them here, to this moment, and she wouldn't have it
