Zachariah tightened his grip around Laurelle's delicate wrist, and her heart raced uncontrollably. Then, he leaned closer and whispered in her ear in a rich, magnetic voice, "From now on, you can only think of me." He extended two fingers and gently tapped the space between her eyebrows. She instinctively nodded but quickly realized something felt off. "We're not very familiar..." How did they go from being strangers to a married couple? "We've slept together and kissed. If that's not familiar, then what is?" His tone was relaxed as his warm breath brushed against her ear. In the bustling street, her heart raced even faster, her fingers curling involuntarily. As she met his deep gaze, she took a deep breath, feeling a blush creeping to her ears. After they returned home and took a moment to settle in, she planned to take him to the supermarket. The house was spotless, like a model home, but it lacked a bit of liveliness. She wanted to buy some daily necessities. But... thinking
