34: I Don't Wanna Do This

"So, Camilla, aren't you going to give us a response?" Lewis asked, grinning at me.
"Seriously?" I raised both of my brows, looking at him.
He nodded. "No big issues. I'm just trying to help my friend out, that's all."
Drake chuckled softly, and I could feel my irritation growing. I needed to put an end to this.
"Well, to answer your question, no, I'm not interested. Now, if you'll excuse me..."
I pushed my chair back and made my way out of the dining room, eager to escape the suffocating atmosphere.
I stepped onto the patio, and I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath to steady myself. A few moments later, I heard footsteps approaching, and I knew without turning that it was Drake. I kept my gaze fixed on the sky above, unwilling to face him just yet.
"What do you want now, Drake?" I asked, not still looking at him.
He paused, then spoke with a cautious tone. "Are you upset with me?"
I exhaled deeply. "No, I'm not upset."
"Then why did you leave the table like that?
