"Camilla, what is he doing here?" My mother asked me, glaring at my father.
"Mom, you need to calm down," I replied, taking a step forward.
"What is he doing here?" She asked again, relentless and passionless.
"Megan, I came to talk to you," my father finally spoke, his whispered tone.
"Well, I don't want to talk to you. Now get the hell out of my house," Mom snapped at him.
"What's going on?" Austin appeared. He turned to my father, and his face changed to a hard one. "Dad? What are you doing here?"
"Austin, son. I came to...."
Austin cut him off, raising his finger in a miff. "Not another word from you. Just leave."
"Will you both please hear him out?" I uttered loudly. The two of them glanced at me."He's sorry for what he did. He wants to apologize, okay?"
"We don't want his apology," Austin spat coldly.
"So you've finally come to your senses," my mother said, setting her eyes back on my father. "Let me guess, your beloved Antonia left you."
