"I asked him to take care of something for me. It's inconvenient for me to handle it myself, so he'll be going instead," Oliver said.
Grace was curious about what the task was, but Oliver didn't elaborate.
Later that night, Grace headed to Hazel's room for a chat after dinner. "So, where did you hide the bag of pasta?"
"I stashed it in the ceiling light fixture. I was worried about hiding it anywhere else," Hazel replied.
Grace nodded. "Tomorrow, once Oliver leaves for work, we can sneak in to take it and then cook it. But let's keep this from Dad for now. I'm afraid he won't be able to resist if he finds out tonight. He has a history of losing control when it comes to food.
