Throughout the day, Grace covered her neck with a high-neck sweater so no one noticed the ambiguous marks that were placed there. It wasn't until she changed into a scoop-neck tank top that her delicate neck, along with the conspicuous purple hickey, became fully visible.
James commented, "Uncle Oliver is a dog."
Grace added, "He's not just any dog."
Oliver, now aptly described by Grace and James as a "dog", had left work early. He took the movie tickets from the desk and set off to pick Grace up.
On the way, he stopped by the roadside to buy a milkshake for her. As it was his first time buying, he didn't know which flavors she liked, so he asked the store for recommendations.
"Go with the signature drink. It's a safe bet."
