Chapter 93
* Cora's POV*
I didn't sleep well last night because I was busy thinking of what to do. Finally, I decided that I needed to talk to someone. And the only person I could talk to was Pedro.
When I got out of my room, Javon had already put on his coat. He was about to go out.
"Good morning." He forced a smile at me. He didn't sleep well, either. I could see dark circles under his eyes.
"Good morning," I smiled back. I didn't know how to face Javon. I was not good at lying. It was difficult for me to pretend that nothing had happened.
So, I walked into the kitchen, dodging Javon's eye contact. I felt I saw a glimpse of depression on Javon's face. But he didn't say anything.
I felt sorry for him. I didn't mean to be mean to him.
But before I could do something, I heard the entrance door open and then close.
Walking out of the kitchen, I found Javon had left.
