After a couple of hours, she fell asleep. She was roused from her deep slumber when Galvin kissed her passionately. He noticed she woke up. She had no strength to resist him when his hand was all over her. Kristel woke up early in the morning despite her discomfort from the other night’s intense intimacy with Galvin. But she needs to make a hangover soup. It worried her that Galvin would suffer discomfort in his stomach after consuming so much alcohol last night. ‘Why did he get drunk, anyway?’ It’s been a long time since the last time he drowned himself with alcohol. Kristel sat up and stared at the man sleeping peacefully on the other side of the bed. She was afraid to wake him up. He might torment her again; thus, she was cautious about getting off the bed. She went to the bathroom and washed up. She was putting her clothes in the walk-in closet when she heard a woman sobbing. At first, she was frightened whether the person she heard was a ghost. However, the woman spoke, and she re
