MIRIAM'S POV I sat down on the couch and held my head with my left hand. Everyone surrounded me and I was really worried that I was making them freak out. "You all should calm down. We will get through this." I said to them in a calm and soothing voice. Everyone left except Daniel who sat beside and pulled me close. He patted my back as I laid on him. Suddenly there was a very loud noise coming from outside and it was as though there was a struggle over something. I wanted to stand up to check what it was but Daniel held me back. "Don't worry, whatever it is will be sorted out." He assured me. He wanted to say something else but before he could open his mouth, the door was forcefully opened and a group of masked men walked into the sitting room. I raised my head immediately and the ones that came behind them pushed my gateman to the ground. I looked at his face as he laid on the floor and discovered that he was already bleeding. My heart began to race as I thought of what they
