Chapter 50

CHRISTOPHER'S POV The phone started ringing again but I decided not to bother myself about it. When I was able to pick myself up from the floor I sat down on the stool that was very close to the table and then picked up the phone. I looked through the phone and I saw the number that was calling but it was strange as the phone was still in my hand the call came in again and this time I picked it. Before saying anything I waited for the person on the other end to speak first but the person said nothing and neither did I. Instead of hearing someone's voice when a sound finally came from the other end I was hearing chattering and noises. I felt the person on the other end was not ready to speak so I dropped the phone and moved out of the living room.
