Caleb remained silent, his eyes fixed on Corine. His expression was almost mocking, as if silently daring her to continue pretending.
"You gave it to me. Don't I have the right to do as I please with it?" Corine shot back, realizing she couldn't avoid the issue any longer. "What's the matter? Does your wife want it back?"
Yasmin picked up on the subtle jab in Corine's words, but it didn't bother her in the least.
