Strictly speaking, Yasmin and Caleb weren't seated right next to each other—there was one person between them. However, with just a slight turn of their heads, they could see each other. Caleb, who was tall and had long limbs, only needed to extend his arm to reach Yasmin. The auction proceeded in an orderly manner, but Yasmin had little interest in the items being presented. While she was distracted, she could keenly feel the invisible pressure coming from her right. Yasmin glanced sideways at Caleb in annoyance. To her surprise, he was looking straight ahead. He only turned toward her when he sensed her gaze. His brow arched slightly. What was Yasmin up to? Yasmin clenched her teeth and huffed, quickly looking away to refocus on the auction. Brenda nudged Yasmin and whispered, "Your soon-to-be ex-husband is staring at you. Veronica is also watching you both." Yasmin immediately turned, looking past Caleb to gaze at Veronica. The strange atmosphere was too hard to ignore. J
