The burial for Luna Fraya was beautiful, reminding me of her soul. I had expected a big turnout but I was pretty sure that all of the shifters in Midnight Moon had shown up to pay their respect, even the ones from Silver Shadow that never got the chance to meet her. I was even happy to see my family and Bailey who I hadn’t seen since before the attack. It was clear that Luna Fraya was loved by her pack, my heart broke for them as I watched them all grieve, interlacing with my own pain of losing such an incredible woman that I only wished I had gotten more time to spend with. She left high standards to reach, ones that I wasn’t sure I could ever live up to. I’ll forever have her gentle eyes and wise words etched into my heart. But for the shifters who remembered her, losing their Luna twice couldn’t have been easy.
