Verian felt the bite marks on the back of Heaton’s hand. She frowned slightly since she bit him when the baby was close to being delivered. She did not expect it to be that deep. She asked while rubbing onto that wound as her heart wrenched, “Is it really painful? Do you want me to help you bandage it?” She looked at the wound. It had two straight rows of teeth marks with a few punctured bloody wounds amongst them. It looked similar to being bitten by a dog. It appeared even if the wound healed, the bite marks would still remain. Heaton then reached out to cover her eyes as he said, “Hurry up and sleep now. What do you want to eat? I’ll have Madam Leah bring them over.” Verian pulled his huge hand away and said, “I have just woken up from a nap and I’m not tired. Come closer. Let me look at your face.” She remembered when she was giving birth, due to his trash talking, she actually punched his left cheek. It was quite a heavy punch too.
