Chapter 29 No Treatment
Aaron was undeniably stronger than I was, a fact I had witnessed firsthand.
The wise ones avoided confrontation with him, making me feel foolish for attempting to push him away when he came at me.
Simultaneously, a peculiar thought crossed my mind. What was happening exactly?
The doctor had assured me that he wouldn't exhibit the same behavior as in the past few days as long as he received the shot. However, I hadn't noticed any changes in him until now.
Tonight, he had grown increasingly ferocious. The moment he tore off the band-aid, the pain was excruciating, reminiscent of a taut string, as the bite he had inflicted had yet to heal.
"Let's get some sleep, Aaron," I said, covering the wound on my neck, which still carried the alpha's scent.
I knew it wouldn't work to be rough with him. A soft approach might be the key, while attempting anything rough with him would be a grave mistake.
"No," he said, slowly unbuttoning my clothes. "Let's get down to business."
