LEON'S POV
My cousin, Noah, sat across from me, a satisfied grin on his face as he sifted through the final details of our agreement. He was the Alpha of the Dark Moon Pack, but we worked together. The ink was barely dry, but that wasn’t what excited me. My thoughts kept drifting back to the earlier conversation I’d had with Irene and the sweet victory I’d scored against Miles. As Noah signed the last page, I couldn’t help but share my triumph with him.
“You should’ve seen the look on Miles’s face,” I said in between our conversation, barely containing my glee. “His precious meeting hall, that house, was reduced to rubble, and now the Gerard Pack is left scrambling to regain any semblance of respect. No one will ever trust them again.”
Noah leaned back in his chair, chuckling.
“I heard about that. You really hit him where it hurts. The meeting hall was their pride and joy, wasn’t it?”
I nodded satisfactorily. “It was more than just a building to them. It was a symbol of their authority
