Chapter 75

HAVEN "Aamon..." My voice comes out weaker than I wanted it too. "Haven!" I scurry to my feet, my hearing sharpening and I can clearly pinpoint the direction where Aamon's voice is coming from. I run towards it as fast as I can, not missing the way my feet carry me at a fast speed. "Aamon! I’m over here?" I can feel him getting closer by the second. I take a left, my senses guiding me through the forest to where I feel his presence getting stronger. A few more running and I finally see him. He was heading in my exact direction too. He comes to a halt and so do I, we are both panting, our chests rising up and down at a fast pace. Our eyes lock and then in a second, we are sprinting towards each other until I throw myself in his arms, my hands wrap around his neck and his wrap around my waist tightly. "Thank fuck!" He breathes hard, the relief that I'm alright evident Iin his voice. "I thought something had happened to you with those beasts out there." I squeeze my eyes shut and wrap my
