HAVEN We've been walking for hours, my palms are sweaty despite it not being sunny in here. I ask Maya where their other group of friends have gone and she says they weren't keen on the idea of exploring the forest, so they headed to a resort. I don't blame them, I would never agree to enter such a forest for the funs of "adventure". I mean, I've watched movies before, Predator, Wrong Turn and so many more. Being prey is the last thing I'd want. Maya and Kai are being brave, but also stupid. The point is, they have balls I'll give them that. If Aamon asked me to come here for reasons none related to finding out about my true origins, my answer would have been an instant none negotiable No. Aamon stops walking and so do we, he's the one in front leading the way. I'm right behind him then Maya and Kai is the last one. They agreed it was best if us females were in the middle for safety. "What is it?" Kai asks. "The ground feels steep over here." Aamon answers without looking behind at us.
