Chapter 52 Her First Social Invite

Exams were over. The students were no longer talking of Mia's wicked act of hiding my chair and desk on the first day of exams. Some of the students were talking of how good of a prank she had played on me. It was only those who knew the enmity between Mia and I and how much she hated me that knew that she hadn't been playing a prank on me and truly wished that I was going to fail.
I sighed, glad that everything was almost over. The semester was almost done and I would spend my holidays quietly at home. I couldn't wait for the peace that was coming after dealing with the dramatic semester.
"Hey," Nathan smiled as he sat beside me. "I don't have to ask you about how your exams were. I know you aced them."
I smiled. "How was yours?"
He shrugged. "It can't be as good as yours though."
I chuckled. "How would you know that? You don't even know what I wrote."
"I knew what I wrote though." He said.
"Whatever, Nathan. I'm not going to force you to believe in yourself."
