Chapter 39 When Plans Fail

Carolyn It was the founders' day and I was a big hell of a nervous wreck. It wasn't like I hadn't talked in front of a crowd before — I had done that a couple of times in my previous school — but this was my first time of speaking in front of a mix of people who didn't like me and those who still thought that I was a stranger to Middletown.
