Chapter 148 The Sensor

Carolyn The day was hectic and I shouldn't have noticed what I did with how crazy it was but I did. I couldn't shake off that feeling and all my senses were at alert. I didn't know what was wrong but I felt like someone was watching me. I looked carefully around me but I didn't notice anyone or anything out of the ordinary. I tried to tell myself that I was only being paranoid but I couldn't shake off the nasty feeling. I knew that certainly someone had to be keeping an eye on me and the person was damn good at their job that they could watch me from the shadows that I didn't detect them. I wondered if it was the same person that had kept an eye on me in Middletown. I wondered how the person had caught up to me when I had been careful to not leave a trace. I had been careful with changing my appearance as well that I didn't think that I would be found easily. I was tempted to believe that I was being paranoid and I couldn't have been found that easily but I didn't dare risk it.
