Chapter 134 The Newest Employee

I fixed my wig on my head and scrubbed some makeup on my face so I wouldn't look like the teenager that I was. No one would want me to work for them if they knew that I was a child and that they might be sued for child labor.
I decided that I was going to walk the entire length of the street in the northward direction. I had walked in the south direction the other day and found the restaurant with the chatty waiter and the not-so-good food. I hoped to find another vacancy today and I could start working.
I bought some rolls and ate them, washing them down with water before I continued on my journey.
I found a convenience store with a bold vacancy sign attached to it and walked towards it. I hoped that I wouldn't meet someone who would be unnecessarily chatty and I hoped that the boss here didn't have bad work ethics. Even if he did, I didn't care as I didn't think that I had another choice again.
Jobs seemed to be scarce and I wasn't about to waste the chance that I had. M
