Carolyn I got to school and looked around, wondering why everyone was distracted. The buzz in the air was unimaginable and contagious. The students paired themselves off in groups of twos and threes and started talking among themselves. I felt a sense of deja Vu as I looked at them, knowing something like this had happened before. It felt like first semester again. I looked at Ryan but he didn't seem concerned about what was happening. "Do you already know why everyone is acting that way?" I asked him, surprised by his indifference. I was too curious to think about something else. He snorted. "I don't know what is going on and neither do I care." "Are you serious?" I asked, stunned. How could he not care about what had everyone like this? He noticed the expression on my face and chuckled. "It's not something to be curious about.
