Chapter 713 A Hint of Anticipation

"Whatever Lia says must be right." Dominic released Bella but couldn't resist sneaking a playful pinch before letting go. Bella's face flushed red. "Enough already. Come back to the bedroom. And stop hiding in your study all the time. You know that Lily hasn't seen much of you these past few days. Can you, for once, step up and be the good dad you keep claiming to be?" He wrapped an arm around her shoulders as they walked back toward their room. "Before I master being a good dad, maybe I should first figure out how to be a good husband." Later, as Dominic stepped into the bathroom for a shower, he casually teased her, promising she wouldn't get off easy that night. Yet, by the time he was out of the shower, all it took was a simple head massage to knock him out cold. Bella's legs were half-asleep from him using them as a pillow. She carefully repositioned him, making sure he was comfortable, and pulled the blanket over him. She whispered, "Good night," before turning off the light.
