Chapter 600 Watching the Snow

Dominic frowned. "Where did you go?" Bella playfully flicked her hand as if shaking off water. "The restroom. Didn't I tell Zoe?" Zoe quickly chimed in. "Yeah, Bella told me she was heading to the restroom." Dominic didn't seem suspicious. "I've got work at the office this afternoon. I'll drop you off first." Bella was a little surprised. She thought that it was a bit too early to leave. But seeing his no-room-for-discussion demeanor, she let it go. Zoe, still feeling unwell, hitched a ride, and Dominic, in a rare show of patience, took a detour to drop her off at home before heading back to Miller Manor. Once it was just the two of them in the car, Dominic suddenly asked, "That kid Sean's been unusually quiet. He hasn't bothered you, has he?" Bella's fingers instinctively fidgeted with her nails, but fearing that he might notice her nervousness, she shoved her hands into her pockets. "Nope. He wouldn't dare with you around. Don't overthink it. He's just a kid in my eyes." Her
