After she heard Dominic walk away, Bella opened her eyes and looked at the suit jacket, puzzled. She was sure that Dominic wasn't bipolar, so why would he be so kind to her after hurting her so badly?
Being a light sleeper, she needed a very specific environment to rest. The courtyard was out of the question, and the rocking chair was nowhere near as comfortable as her bed. Soon, she started to feel uncomfortable all over.
She rose from her seat and went inside, casually tossing Dominic's suit jacket onto the rocking chair.
Didn't he dislike being treated so casually? She deliberately wanted to make him uncomfortable, preferably so uncomfortable that he couldn't bear to see her for even a second.
