Bella raised an eyebrow. "Isn't it because I'm older than you?" Sean shook his finger playfully. "No, no, no. It's because calling you 'Bella' sounds closer than 'Ms. Jones', doesn't it? Plus, if you've seen my mom, you might find her face oddly familiar. Haven't you noticed how much she resembles Dominic's mother?" A buzzing sound filled Bella's head. She'd never considered the possibility before, but now that Sean pointed it out, her mind raced uncontrollably down that path. The more she thought about it, the clearer it became. Margaret Reed really did bear an uncanny resemblance to Dominic's late mother. It hadn't crossed her mind before, probably because she was so young when Dominic's mother passed.
