On her way home after work, as the sun was setting, Bella couldn't shake the feeling that someone was trailing her. Yet, every time she looked back, there was no one there. She thought of that man and couldn't help but feel nervous. She quickened her pace, almost breaking into a run as she hurried back home. As soon as she stepped into the courtyard, she locked the gate behind her. She was all alone now, and it was freaking her out. Bella tried to imagine that Leonard and Dominic were still around, but the empty courtyard constantly reminded her that she was alone.
