Chapter 413 Working Things Out for 20 Years

Dominic suddenly stood up and walked toward the door. Cara hurriedly asked, "Where are you going, Mr. Miller?" He replied coldly, "I'm going to buy her a new phone." Once he left, Bella couldn't hold back her tears anymore. Cara poured her a glass of warm water and gently comforted her. "It's okay. Relationships take time to adjust. Mr. Miller may have a short temper, but he still cares about you." Bella rubbed her forehead. "It's been 20 years, and we still need to adjust? He's driving me crazy." Cara was at a loss for words. She inwardly agreed that after 20 years, there should not be anything else for them to adjust. After a while, Dominic called Cara, informing her that he'd be late. He had something urgent to handle first. He also told her to keep an eye on Bella and not let the latter leave the house. It was pretty obvious. He didn't want her to go out to meet Sean. Bella didn't react. She would prefer for him not to come back. Every time he did, it only made things worse.
