“Mom, you're awake!” Mirabel cried, rushing into the room. Her mom looked so pale but she wore a small smile as she stared at her daughter. She was propped up on the bed with a pillow. “Oh my gosh! This is happening,” Mirabel cried as she turned to Chase. “How did this happen? What did you do?
