Chapter 57 Stay with Your Husband, and You Will Be Safe

After blatantly threatening the governor of the state, there were only two ways this could go. One is a disaster. Two, Chase could take back his words, and apologize. The second option was highly unlikely, as Chase Darwin rarely leveled threats he wasn't easy to follow up on. If he threatened to cut the governor's tongue out, then he meant it.
