Lucas adjusted his clothes as he stared in the mirror. The last thing he wanted was to go and talk to random people about his private life which was none of their business. But Lucas knew that the moment he became a star everything he did became public business.
“You’re good to go, right?” Betty asked him.
Lucas nodded, “Yeah, sure.”
Betty regarded him before she asked the question that had been bothering her.
“She’s not pregnant for you, right?” Betty asked.
Lucas shrugged, he wasn’t even offended by the questions he was getting.
“No, she's not.”
“You have to defend yourself, Lucas,” Betty reminded him.
