Thaddeus ignored his mother’s screaming. He glared at Victor, unable to suppress the anger boiling in his chest. He switched his glare back to Mona and repeated the question, “Answer me! Who are the kids he’s talking about?” Mona chose silence. She looked down and refused to explain.
